A basic upgrade to the Escaflowne, rebuilt in a conquered zeon factory. Since the central area of the original Escaflowne was completly scrapped after a overwhelming fight aginst three Dom Tropens and a Gelgoog. It's custom sword was replaced by a heat sword similar to the Gouf Custom's and a beam sword similar to the Gelgoog's only not double sided. The Esca-2 also was sealed allowing it to function in space.
